Am I the only one
Or is everyone the same
God made us in his sight
But does that reflect feelings too.
I feel inner peace
Calmness from within
When surrounded by green
And nothing else in sight.
I feel happiness
Craving and Sorrow
Bliss and Pleasure
Being with the one.
It teaches me to cry
To laugh, to enjoy
To hide in it
When sorrow grips tight.
It pulls me like gravity
Teaches me to grow
And leaves a force
Only I understand.
It gives me strength
Power and Energy
Will to do
And blessing to move on.
But then again I wonder
Are the emotions worth the pain
To feel it the way I do
And no one to understand.
I lie awake
Sleepless, Restless
To know the reason
Of such feelings.
Days have passed
After that journey
After the meeting
But the feeling resides.
Stronger than ever
Growing in a wink
Residing within
Tempting, Delicious, Worthwhile.
I look within
And feel happy
Sorrow accompanied
By the wind of it all.
I see around
No one feels it
But why me
Am I so different.
The pleasure of being within
Was unlike any before
But am I the only one who feels
Or the mind playing tricks.
I wonder whom I can tell
To whom I can speak
Of this feeling
No one would understand.
Am I made different
To unlock the mysteries
This world presents
Or are there others around.
Similar feelings
Similar unspoken language
That enters deep within
And touches the soul.
A feeling within
Embroidered and beautiful
Yet hidden
So difficult to unscramble.
Is there anyone like me
I'm on a journey
To search for them
To gain knowledge lying within.
I look up
And feel the touch
Of the green
Of the blessings showered upon.
And I know, I've learnt
I'm different
God made me so
To lead a different path.
And on this path
I met a person
With similar perceptions
I've crossed my fingers.
I know there are few
With similar feelings
I saw in that person
What I see in myself.
I wish it to be true
To come close
To learn the knowledge
The wisdom, I seek.
From that person
Those bright eyes
Fiery red
Which touched within.
God has a purpose
And if this true
I will learn from that person
The knowledge that I seek.
The green will help
Dispel the darkness
Bring us together
